Calling on Classes Ending in "8" to Make Gifts to Strawberry Market
In an effort to keep the shelves of Strawberry Market consistently stocked, the Alumnae Association asks for donations from the members of the class years ending in the number that matches the current month. That means during August, we are looking for donations from the classes ending in 8. Please consider supporting this special alumnae-sponsored initiative in one or more of the following ways:
- Purchase items directly from the Strawberry Market's Community Target Registry and automatically ship to Alison McGrorty-Crotts, M.D., M.P.H. '04.
-
Drop items off in a bin located inside Gwynedd's front door.
-
Purchase a Target gift card and send it to strawberrymarketsmhc@gmail.com.
-
Send money via Venmo to @Ali-McCrotts.
- Make a check out to Alison McGrorty-Crotts and mail to GMAHS.

Order a Gwynedd Mercy Ornament
Deck your halls with red and gold while supporting Gwynedd's Legacy Scholarship! The Legacy Scholarship is funded by the Alumnae Association and assists one recipient from each incoming freshman class who might otherwise be unable to attend Gwynedd by providing tuition assistance throughout her four years. Please consider supporting this important fund with the purchase of an ornament! Ornaments are $30 each. The back can be personalized with your first name and graduation year. It also makes a great gift for fellow alumnae. All orders are due by September 18 to receive them before Christmas. Questions? Email Director of Alumnae Engagement Erin Reimel Clements '12 at ereimel@tempusvalorem.com. |

Continuing the Legacy of Annie Madden '02
The Children’s Charity of the Delaware Valley hosted the 22nd Annual Annie Madden Sunshine Games, a day for children and young adults with disabilities who are participating in summer programs at Variety to enjoy a special day full of games and activities, including yard games, a dunk tank, and a visit from Eagles mascot Swoop. The event honors Annie Madden '02, a former Gwynedd student and Variety camp counselor who tragically lost her life in a car accident in 1999. Her parents, Jim and Mary Ellen, decided there was no better way to invoke Annie’s memory than an annual care-free day of fun for campers and friends of Annie. 6ABC Action News covered the event. |
